Over the past year and especially during the past eight months, everyone on the planet, except the very wealthy, have been cutting back, spending less, robbing Peter to pay Paul and being creative with their finances.

With the epidemic rising prices, how have you helped your or your family budget toward making ends meet. Perhaps something you are doing would be helpful to some of our BC members.

Please share a little of your financial griefs or manipulations that could help us curb our appetites for all the goodies we are used to buying.

Those are indeed very good choices.

Driving a lot less and car pooling whenever possible. Eating home more often than not. I have been looking for deals at the grocery store. Shopping is only when necessary. Less movies at the theatre. That is a tough one for me for I so love movies. I have been re-watching many of the DVD's we have. Last weekend we watched the trilogy "Lord of The Rings," and they were excellent.

Hey, I hear you Jack. Nowadays, most of us have to do it this way. Must admit I have never heard of "Billings Law." Where did this come from?

To be honest, we've always lived well below our means (we're very simple, non-materialistic people,) so we haven't had to adjust anything to make ends meet.

Haven't changed anything -- only buy what I can afford.
