Which one are you? I'm all for giving credit to any religion or belief that makes one a better human being. No matter how "out there" one might think it is. Yep. Even Scientology if it makes you a better person. I'm more spiritual than religious. I find that i've had better results finding myself and looking forward to believing in something although I am a confirmed Catholic. What are everyone else's views?

Spiritual, but born Lutheran. (Officially non-religious now.) To put it shortly, I don't believe God has rules for us, but I believe he exists.

I feel you, but i do think he has rules for us. However, what many people do not realize is that they are not arbitrary rules. They each have a purpose in a giant web of guidelines that would prove to lead one to perfect happiness if any of us were actually able to follow all of them. We're not, so we just be as loving as we can. After all, every rule(regardless of what yo ucall them, if anything at all) is encompassed by one word, "love". :]

I am a former Christian (Bible College Graduate) turned apostate ( I renounced Christianity).
I have received many years of Buddhist teachings.
I have also teachings in First Nations Longhouses.
Spiritually plays a large role in my life.
Organized religion has ZERO place in my life.
The greatest barrier I had to discovering my spiritual nature was all the religious doctrine, dogma, rituals, myths, reverence for symbols, objects and certain people, and doctrines about deities and afterlife that I had been brainwashed with from infancy onwards. However, once I severed the chains of religion I quickly learned how to meditate.
I'm an extremely spiritual person, who does not believe in a supreme being, and who has utterly rejected the doctrine, dogma and all the accouterments of institutionalized religion.
I believe ONLY in what I personally experience. Once individuality, personality, and ego are entirely extinguished via meditation, I experience -- pure consciousness.
In other words, what I experience is that when I meditate and all the things associated with the self like greed, anger, hate, etc, etc - dissolve is that there really is no self, there is no distinct being that is separate from the universal stream of pure consciousness. -
I will always find it strange how people humanise God.
I don't believe that God is a person.
I practice my own rules, they are easy.
Treat others how I would wish to be treated.
I guess I am more of a spiritual person than religious. My Mum once told me that she hoped rather than be religious, she hoped I was kind! I try to be

I am definitely spiritual not religious although I adhere to a specific faith. I have found my faith an anchor to overcome tremendous obstacles in my life. Sarah
