   As for making money It takes a while to make money You can make money by refering others to Squidoo or by creating lenses and adding to them.
   
   I have not been paid yet but only been there a bit over a month Made a little not much Won't even buy me a coffee LOL but that is not why I am there

      You can also make money by putting the Amazon and Ebay modules on your lens. I use my lens to increase visibility and traffic to my 2 blogs and web site.
      I enjoy playing around with different interactive features. I have also connected with some great people on Squidoo.

       As far as rating, ratings, no matter what they are, will increase your lensrank. However, a caution to everyone: Squidoo does look down on ratings swaps, so make sure you're rating lenses for honest reasons and not in order to reciprocate.

    I didn't have any lenses the first time this came around, but I think it answers my question of where I heard of it! I've got about a dozen so far, with another under construction. I make very little (and donate to charity) but they're fun to make.
    
    I've got one to organize posts from my blog - best.grammar.ever.com - and one about finding new music, both artists and sources. That one is at www.squidoo.com/musicality and is updated at least once a month, usually once a week.

    jackpayne, you might browse the Lens of the Day or some Top 100 lenses to get a better idea of ways you can use Squidoo. It's its own beastie. There's nothing quite like it.
    
    I've only made $180 since last June, but I let my pages sit and percolate a lot. My monthly payout is going up about $5 a month now that I know what I'm doing.

    An important key to success with Squidoo lenses is joining groups and leaving legitimate comments on other lenses. It takes some time, but if you get involved, people will help promote your lens. A well-promoted lens can increase traffic to your blog or website. The bottom line is still CONTENT. Make a lens that is informative, fun, or inspiring and people will favorite you all over the place.
