... I send him straight to the shower, and he keeps his stinky boots in the garage

I like Degree for women, and the hubby uses what I buy for him - the most powerful one I can buy is Right Guard

it works for me, but for the hubby sometimes I have to take him outside and just spray him down with the hose

Sure, I've smelled at least twenty peoples breath as they were about to eat me.

and get your point across. I am a firm believer that they should be told if they stank
but do it in a way as to not embarrass them, that's where the diplomacy comes in.

If you have body odor, you don't have to go through life with it, you can take steps to end body odor.
Mint, Spearmint, Alfalfa and some other herbs can be a really good cleaner for body odor,
either taken internally or bathe with in a hot tub bath.
Scented oils work too and something else.
Eating and bathing in Chlorophyll is a great internal deodorant, made from premium alfalfa.
Nature's Way makes a bottle of Cholorofresh (liquid chlorophyll) and that works.
If you are a coffee addict, this coffee drinking contributes to your underarm stink and body odor.
Not eating enough green leafy vegetables, salads and herbs contributes to a odor body.
If you know you have a odor problem, please do something, cause you're killing us. -
speaking of not showering, my cousin just told me a story tonight of getting a massage by a very heavy woman who had clearly not showered in a long, LONG time and her sweaty stinkyness was resting on my cousin DURING the massage. If you thought that was both gross and amusing, we should be friends.-

I tell people one test to see if their nylons need washing: BEND THEM. If they go, "SNAP!!!" then they need to be washed.

I only indulge in garlic when I have respiratory infections. The alicin is antibiotic and attacks those little buggers from the bloodstream into the alveolar sacs.

I, for one, look forward to summers when I can go camping in the high mountains, and not shower, shave, or change my socks or drawers for 3 months. Then come home smelling like a man, and shower with a putty knife.-

I like to go camping and that is different, you may only bathe if your close to a stream of running water or a lake. Its a good thing to go natural sometimes and not wear any deodorant.
Do you know that a mother rabbit will sometimes eat her young if you go and touch them, especially when they are fresh out the womb. They hate the smell of humans touching their young and respond by eating them as they no longer want them once touched.

Keep Polmolive (green) liquid soap in a small container, in the shower. After bathing, pour some of the liquid dish soap onto a wash cloth and wash your feet and your armpits . Rinse. Clean socks or stockings in clean or new shoes. Odor eaters placed inside shoes and changed every two weeks, along with the washing will almost assuredly clean up this stinky and embarrassing problem. One more thing: Chlorophyl tablets, over the counter, one tablet per day, used in combination with what I have already described will definitely do the trick. My Mother told me about this as her brother had a severe problem.
Prescription strength deodorants (some now over the counter) will help, too. Changing diet will improve other concerns.
