Ok let's all stop talking about our own blogs for a sec. Instead, name your favorite blog here.
My list is long but here is the one I like:
johnbakersblog.co.uk/
This blog is about literature and writing also very often it brings a commentary on political events. Really worthwhile of your time.

Hi turnem,
Thanks for dropping that link to john baker's blog - I'm looking forward to reading it.
My favourite is this guy: deus ex malcontent
www.deusexmalcontent.com/
Ex-CNN staffer, kicked out, wrote a book you can buy from his site. Always spot-on analysis of what's happening politically and socially in the States. -
you are right.
I have never talked about my blog, not even once!
I like any blog that talks about education e.g. Harvard University blog -
The mistake many people do is this! What do people gain by promoting their stuff when they don't even have the patience to listen to what others say?
Well, I like a lot of blogs. I am listing the ones I highly recommend
thinksimplenow.com
copyblogger.com
gadflyrevolution.com
lateralaction.com
www.illuminatedmind.net/
I appreciate your coming up with such a thread! Cheers! -
Geez people, lighten up about the 'stop posting about your blog'. This is one discussion thread and believe me there are more than enough threads for promoting your own blog. I for one always love to discover new things.
For fun ideas for living and decorating in a small space: apartmenttherapy.com and designspongeonline.com
About the policies and politics affecting US education: eduwonk.com
Popular arts and culture: movmnt.com
An American woman's daily life in the middle east: intlxpatr.wordpress.com
Cute stuff and interesting observations minimalaerie.blogspot.com/ -
Sounds like somebody woke up on the cranky side of the bed today. I am guessing that turnem means those that say "Read my blog" over and over and keep bumping their own thread because no one will read their blog and leave comments. Even if I'm wrong about what she means, that's what I mean.
I just found this one the other day and thought it was pretty cool; written in the perspective of a horse.

I can't select one single "favorite" blog. I have 145 favorites that range over a broad span of categories. They are listed on my ... wait for it ... BC favorites page, just like every other member's favorites are. ... lol

two come to mind immediately:
1. the home of the 299 word novel: davidbdale.wordpress.com/
and
2. some plain simple english: www.buffyholt.com/blog/ -
I don't have a favorite I have a lot that I really enjoy. My favorites page needs a clean up. I wouldn't go there.

@Shirley
I'm beginning to think that I will have to set up an organized schedule with a time spot for checking up on friends. I have discovered some "dead wood" who rarely if ever post at all. They have virtually parked their blogs here so I'm preparing to "prune" them. I'm not sure which should use to get organized Toodledo or Remeberthemilk

The Webe Team would like to wish each and everyone of you a Happy and Prosperous New Year, may 2009 be the start of a brighter future for all mankind. Together we all could make 2009 go down in history as the year when the world started to set aside its differences, and forgot conflict in favour of peace and understanding, and begun to build a world that celebrated the wide and colourful cultural traditions that make up our heritage.
The world we all live in is full of beauty if only we could stop for a moment to see it. We would probably realise just how much we stand to lose by continuing with our current system that is full of hatred, greed and conflict. We all owe it to our children and all the children yet to be born, to find a way through the darkness that engulfs us all, and create a civilisation that is based on tolerance and understanding so the world could at last be a place where we all live in peace and harmony.
