Hi all. I've noticed that many of the subscribe to my RSS feeds are extremely old with thousands of links. Let's start this one off right. Subscribe to my RSS feed and I'll subscribe to yours. As people start to add their links, subscribe to them as well. As many BlogCatalog members as we have, it shouldn't be hard to explode your subscription numbers quickly.

I'll consider adding your feed to google reader. But I'd like to see more content first

Oh boy, another "follow me and I'll follow you" thread. What does this have to do with "Blogging Help"?

Actually quite a bit. When visitors arrive at your site the first thing they're looking for is quality content and easy navigation. These two factors alone might convince them to come back. I can't speak for everyone but when I notice a high number of subscribers in the feedburner widget I'm even more convinced that the blog I'm visiting is consistent with the quality I've seen thus far. I'm more inclined to return.....and subscribe

. . . subscribers who will quickly leave once they realize that they're subscribing to blogs they don't really want to read.

Your time is better spent on proven SEO techniques, not shortcuts to popularity.
