One of my favourite summer suppers is Taco Salad. Cheap, fast, tasty and the kids just love it!

Have you tried Taco Salad as an alternative to the messier crisp taco? Which did you like better?

My husband is Indian. He likes Mexican food because it is spicy. He particularly likes my enchiladas, the recipe for which is on the blog. There is a recipe for making the tortillas as well...they are very much like roti. And Salsa Fresca is almost identical to sambals (cilantro is another name for dhania). And cumin, a very common spice in Mexican food, is just another word for jeera. And, of course, there are chilis and chili powder, which seem to be universal.
Give one of the recipes a try...you will find the food different, but somehow very familiar!

Many of the recipes can be made vegetarian and some of them include instructions to convert them to vegetarian.
The taco salad recipe I posted today can be made vegetarian by omitting the meat and doubling the portion of beans, for example.
And the raw beans can be cooked without meat (see the Bean Soup recipe and just leave out the meat when preparing the dish). After cooking, the beans can be used whole or mashed and fried in a little oil (refried beans...recipe for that, too) to be used in some of the recipes.
Bean and rice burritos are awesome!

That is an Explorer problem. It opens OK in FireFox.
Anybody have a clue what to do about that? It's the reason I switched from Explorer to FireFox.-

This is what he wants to know:
•What browser version (the complete version number of format "n.n.nnnn.nn" may be significant here) are you using?
•What operating system (again, name and version, please) are you using?
•In what blogs(s) have you observed the problem?
•Is that your blog(s), and if so, did you see an improvement by removing the Follower / Friend Connect gadgets? By changing the comment form option? By removing any other gadgets?
•Have you made any separate effort to diagnose your problem?
I have had the same issue but managed to solve the problem. The average user uses Internet Explorer. So, I simply couldn't ignore this issue. -
I have the same problem on Blogger blogs when I use Explorer, whether it is IE7 or IE8.
I have no idea what is causing the problem...I haven't changed any widgets/gadgets on my blogs, the problem just popped up a couple of weeks ago and affects many blogger blogs that I try to access using Explorer.
I suspect the problem is some kind of conflict between Blogger/Google and Explorer/Microsoft and they are going to have to resolve it. I certainly can't.
If you can find a way to notify Blogger/Google of the problem, please let me know...I can't find anyplace to report it except their user forum which, historically, has been something less than useless.
Firefox, as much as I hate the thing, seems to work OK and there is...literally...nothing I can do to fix this.

@sweetviolet
It displays fine in IE8 and in Firefox 3.0.11
If you want to do a cross browser compatibility check you can do that through browsershots.org -
Now we have come really off-topic ... but isn't it strange that when Google released the new Crome browser, that all of a sudden Internet Explorer started having problems with Blogger blogs? Or is it just me being suspicious?

Off-topic:
I think Google places Blogger at the very bottom of their priority list. From templates right out of the box that don't validate, to all kinds of other problems it seems that fixing Blogger problems, let alone, ongoing software development is not a Google priority. Where that fits in with Chrome I don't know, but I suspect the same as you. If adjustments were made to accommodate Chrome then they could have in turn caused problems for IE users. I can't explain the differences between us though. I can view the blog fine in IE8.
