If you had a choice...what kind of superpower would you like to have? (or already have hehe) and how would you use your powers?

I think being able to fly would be pretty nice. My commute would be so much more relaxing and therapeutic. Plus, I wouldn't have to deal with all the hassles these days of air travel. :-)

TSR, Yup flying would be great to avoid air travel...but what about the luggage LOL Can you imagine someone flying with shopping bags or a samsonite Brings to mind a little ditty someone thought up sometime back...it goes like this:
Birdie Birdie flying High,
Sends a message from the sky,
Angry Farmer wipes his eye...
Thanking God that cows don't fly!

  Some valid points. :-) Guess there would be some logistical issues I'd need to work out. (grin) Weather... Luggage... groceries... But the money I'd save in gasoline each week! And the view of the city!

OMG - I've laughed out loud at my desk twice at pointlessbanter today.

I'd like to be able to time travel - My stock picks would surely improve and I'd think my blog visitors would improve due to it. Isn't that what a super power is about - improving your blog?

I'd love to read peoples minds, be able to fly, be able to regenerate, maybe even walk thru walls, teleportation, time travel, paint the future ... ok, ok, you know who I'd love to be and it isn't Sylar. Nickphil67, I was wondering when you'd show up! Typical! That's what i'd have picked to a little Peter Petrelli power where you can mimic everyone elses powers! So how do you stop a superpower like that? Anyone have any ideas? We could set the Titelator (read earlier comments) on him! LOL

  As for best Superman ever, I actually like Tom Welling in Smallville, even though he hasn't and won't don the red cape.

My superpower......well let me see.....Invisiblity would be cool, but way popular the same with teleport and time travel, I think to be able to melt into any substance undetected and shape shift that would be cool....you would be invisble, could fly, swim, anything you wanted to be

Hey, how about being able to duplicate at will. Imagine sending You2 to work and You3 to do the groceries, and You4 to the in-laws and you could snooze and surf all day And for Star Wars fans you could start a Clone war LOL

i'd like to be an empath / have telepathic abilities :-)

there'd be the challenge of not letting all the extra sensory input overload me, but being able to figure out whether people are telling the truth or not, and perhaps nudging people onto a path they don't know they need to tread... yup, that'd be my goal... :-)

Willow, Remember that old saying that you can bring a horse to water but you can't make it drink! Well sometimes people may not want to take the right path even if it is better for them. What i'm trying to say is that nudge might not work because you could be shouting in thier ear and it'd still have the same effect. Yes. i'm talking from an experience I had with someone. But it'd still be a great power to have

  heyya eddie! oh, I know from experience all too well too about the whole horse/water thing... but also from experience you can't make someone do something unless they themselves want to do it, so that's where the empathy comes in, figuring out how best to deliver the message, y'know? *but* also based on past experience, one needs to be very cautious of "playing god" or depriving others of their own choices... with this power comes LOTS of responsibility because there's so much potential for abuse... then again, that goes for all superpowers...
  
  which reminds me... this discussion thread is really appropriate seeing as The4400 new seasons starts tonight, and I'm very much looking forward to it... I'm pro-promicin myself, I'd risk that 50:50 survival rate to develop an ability and be able to make a difference! ;-)

Hi again Willow, the problem with certain people is that sometimes their choices are self destuctive and everone can see that it's not going to have a happily ever after ending except themselves. You wanna help but you're locked out!! You'd need to have mind control powers then and I wish I did for this person!

I always like to cheat on this question. I would like the ability to alter reality with my mind. It is only one power, but pretty much would let me do whatever I want. If that is too powerful though, having more traditional mental powers would be fun.
