Survey: How much is gas/petrol in your area?

Hi friends, this is a survey to gauge how much gas/petrol is globally.

Please state:
1) price (currency $ and metric)
2) city/country

right - that's per gallon.

Since one gallon is equal to 3.785412 liters, that would be around $1.03 USD/liter.

Or, even more approximately, 0.66 Euro/liter.
Or is it litre?

Just to be inclusive, that price is about 533.47 Costa Rican Colons (CRC) per liter.

I was in Indiana over the weekend and it was $3.99 there. In my Chicago suburb it's currently $4.11, and in the city proper it's running as high as $4.45.

On Hawaii's Big Island:

$4.37/gal for regular unleaded at my nearest station (Shell)
$4.10/gal for regular unleaded at COSTCO, which is the cheapest on our island

Los Angeles = average $4.09 (as high as $4.59)

According to this site (mentioned above), the national average right now is $3.94. The highest gas price is in Grand Terrace, CA ($5.09) and the lowest is in Pearson, GA ($3.29).

$4.089/gallon for regular is the highest price I've seen locally. The cheapest is $3.999/gallon.

  A bit yes, and we have 6 other vehicles/toys/machines that run on gas so it does add up. I may have to send the children out to get jobs soon!!

Paid $4.24 today to fill up. Cheer up. If our politicians don't stop stiff-arming us on developing our own abundant resources of oil, we'll soon think $6.00 a gallon is the standard. Whereas, with taking the wraps off our exploration of our own natural resources in the U.S., the speculative bubble in oil would burst, and the price would quickly retreat to the $2.00 per gallon range. Don't hold your breath though, Ain't about to happen. The environmental lobby is too strong to permit the big amount of catch-up drilling, and refining, that we need, not only to fill our own needs, but to compete in world markets.

Hi, we're really feeling the squeeze over here in the U.K.!
My local petrol station is charging £1.29 a litre ($2.55)for diesel
so 3.78 litres to the gallon = $9.64 a gallon
and petrol isnt much cheaper :-(

  INR56 at Chennai/India ($1=INR42). ie around $1.3/litre. In India gas is sold to consumers at subsidized rates.

  Here in S. Louisiana it's probably about the same as yours. To be honest, I don't (& never did,) look at prices. It's not going to make a difference, so why depress myself? The total's bad enough.

In India petrol is 50 rupees a litre and that's a lil more than 1$ a litre for the normal ones! And it's just close to $1.30 for premium!

Last month in Jordan gas was 660 fils a liter that's about $3.50 a gallon.

Here in Syria the price is 25 pounds a liter which it use to be 7 pounds. That is about $2.00 a gallon.
