The two diseases are not spread in the same way. The novel influenza A (H1N1) virus is airborne. The prevention of the spread of the novel influenza A (H1N1) virus includes proper hand washing, respiratory hygiene, and cough etiquette. Proper respiratory hygiene includes covering your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze and throwing the tissue in the trash after you use it. Those protect themselves by wearing a mask are making a choice designed to prevent them getting the disease. If they are successful they will have no immunity when the second wave comes. Infectious disease experts say the second wave is likely to be more deadly that the first wave.

In other words there is NO connection with condoms, and there is no battle going on between the two diseases. They aren't even related in any way. They aren't spread in the same manner. That renders your title on this thread SWINE FLU vs AIDS and the position you take in the OP as being off-base and/or misleading.

Where is the evidence that "the whole world wants to wear a surgical mask"?
Where is the evidence that "still nobody wants to wear a condom"? If this were true the condom companies would not be doing a booming business.
When members post off-base and/or misleading threads containing broad and sweeping generalizations which are not supported by facts, they can be greeted by other members, who may express their annoyance and frustration about being asked to participate in an off-base discussion. They may even challenge the member who posted such a thread to produce the facts or stop posting nonsense. This is because any opinion which NOT based on facts has NO value. -
TT, I think the OP's point was simply that there was a huge flurry of fear and somewhat drastic measures in many areas to protect against swine flu, whereas AIDS is more certain to be deadly and more widespread and many people eschew simple protection against it. I don't think that he was comparing the two diseases in any way, but making a valid and interesting observation about the dichotomous reactions of people who might be at risk for the two diseases.

I think its everyone's point of view.
Well, I don't share that point of view and your are incorrectly alleging that I do. You need to either produce facts that substantiate your claim(s) or withdraw them.
I don't understand what you want to explain in last comment?
I challenge you to either produce the facts or stop posting nonsense like this into forum threads. Any opinion which NOT based on facts has NO value, therefore, I reject your opinion as being unsubstantiated.

Didn't you already start this exact same thread at least once already and see it get deleted? Why would you start it again?

I am just trying to create awareness for aids as people around the world are taking precautions for swine flu , then Its also important to take precautions for diseases like AIDS as it is also wide spread.
try to understand the main post , instead of putting use less comments by just reading comments.
