I almost have it everyday. I just can't explain why. Yesterday I was dreaming and my wife was in it. At the end of the dream, she said something about eating barbeque. The moment I woke up, I told her about the dream. She said that she's been dying to eat barbeque lately, but I knew nothing about it.

I started meditating last April and have been experimenting with binaural beats lately. Do you think this has anything to do with it?

When I am in flow with my Universe, through regular chanting and moments of silence, I find I am more open to receiving the messages and signs that I am sent. I hear better and respond in a more positive way to the information I receive. I therefore, receive more of the same. When I am not in flow with my Universe, I do not receive the messages I am being sent, nor do I hear as well. My silence and moments of catching the messages become less frequent and I am less able to distinguish between the thoughts in my head and the intuition of my heart and soul. I realise this means that it is important for me to remain as regular as possible with my chanting / meditation. Your meditation will benefit you in many ways and at many levels. Great question!

That's nice. It really important to have moments of silence, but it's hard to find a quite place where you can sit down and be in touch with your inner self. I thought, maybe if I stay awake when everyone is asleep, that would solve the problem. So now, I sleep in the morning and wake up in the afternoon. It's just wonderful to hear nothing but yourself. =)

i think you will like ac/dc soon.
  3. flamingpoodle
Well, yes. Since I got more synchronicity, I have like way more legroom.
  4. Ryhen
oh, here's another one... earlier today, i had a weird thought about asking some guys on the internet to make sense with their comments. nuni nuni nu... =)

    Uhh... what's synchronicity?
  6. celticmusicfan
That's an album by The Police.
  7. Ryhen
Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events which are causally unrelated occurring together in a meaningful manner. In order to count as synchronicity, the events should be unlikely to occur together by chance.

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchronicity

Sorry, I'm too lazy to create my own definition... =P

Hmmm so there is a posibility that i might be playing uncello here while you are grinding the hurdy-gurdy over there in manila and for a span of a few seconds we come up with an Em chord on the second stanza then that is synchronicity right?
    1. Ryhen
close, but not really. if we are trying to make a song, independent of each others awareness, and we come up with the same chords, you can consider that synchronicity. we have a chat and i'm like "hey man, check out my song." And you're like, "Damn it dude, you stole my notes! Check out mine."

I had a dream once It felt more like an OBE, I found myself sitting beside a friend of mine whom was asleep in her bed. The next day as we walked to school she told me about the weirdest dream she'd had the night before. She'd dreamt that I was in her room sitting beside her watching her sleep.

    Does that count?
  10. celticmusicfan
Wow.That's hair raising . Totally interesting.
    1. Sam1982
It's happened twice as far as I'm aware - the second occasion was what seemed like a dream that I was being chased by a menacing shadow, I chased me into my brothers room where I tried to wake him up, he wouldnt wake - no matter how much I slapped or punched him. The next morning he woke up with crusted blood around his nose, he said it was weird because he also dreamt that I'd been in his room and that I'd punched him.

you guys can tune in to higher frequencies. that explains the OBEs you're having. it could also be that you're just experiencing sleep paralysis. Out of body experiences are basically different from synchronicities but they are both, however, psychic phenomena. Try listening to binaural audio clips particularly in the alpha and theta wave frequencies and see if there will be a significant change in your experiences. perhaps one day you can even talk to your dead relatives. hehe...

i guess i have similar experience. one afternoon while taking a nad, i was jolted off from sleep. i tried to get up but i could not move. i also couldn't breath. i tried to call for help but no one can hear me. i tried to bang the walls and i realize my hands felt like a very soft pillow.i wrestled from my self only to find myself staring at my own sleeping body. i closed my eyes and concentrated and felt myself going back to my body until i woke up sweating so hard.
    1. Sam1982
It's a bizarre feeling isnt it?
    2. hatingtherain
      that's sleep paralysis.
  12. celticmusicfan
it is.it makes you don't want to sleep ever again.
    1. Sam1982
That was how I felt too - also knowing that if the above story was more than just coincidence then who was the third party who chased me into my brothers room?
  13. celticmusicfan
do you think..well if you believe in the occults and stuff it could be possible that someone was dabbling with that sort of thing..you know trying to scare you.
    1. Sam1982
It could have been me - toying around with something that I knew a bit about, but not enough. I did believe that the house we were living in at the time was haunted, the house in particular is the basis of my blog.
  14. celticmusicfan
The Maybrick Estate? I have visited haunted houses before(i am not even sure if they are really haunted except for some accounts by the media and people) and you get to really 'feel' something there. sometimes even when i am in my room i have to look over my shoulder to check if somebody is looking at me.
    1. Sam1982
Yep its fiction based on my own personal brushes with the occult and paranormal.
  15. celticmusicfan
yeah i've read some of it and they are very good and very atmospheric. i like that in any horror story.
    1. Sam1982
Thanks - I feel quite bad for not updating it enough. But I need to be in the right mood to get all serious and set the tone just right.
  16. celticmusicfan
true. i have problems writing fiction. after page 50 i always end up thrashing my work hahahha. can't seem to get past that page. i always find something not working.
    1. Sam1982
Continuity is always the hardest I find - especially when you want to try and have a twist to the story
  17. celticmusicfan
well everyone can write but very few has a talent to go through the whole process
    1. Ryhen
this technique makes writing easy for me: find a quite place, light up a candle, draw a pentagram, sit in the middle, mumble a few words, and then let the pen do all the work.
    2. celticmusicfan
Oh wow I wish I could do that. just call me if you want a brown leprechaun dancing somewhere nearby .

      here's my experience for today

earlier today, I was goofing around on your other discussion about creativity. 9 hours later, i found this accidentally while wasting time on youtube.

Sir Ken Robinson: Do schools kill creativity?
      www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG9CE55wbtY&feature=channel
    4. celticmusicfan
yes i have that same experience
    5. Ryhen
it was really weird dude. I didn't even notice until now that you posted the video on your discussion. haha.
  18. notyourmotherscrazy
That's awesome. I call that "all being right with the world." These moment are rare. Take them for all you can!
    1. Ryhen
yup! i hope everything falls into place. i'm thinking about a million dollars right now.
  19. celticmusicfan
Please do share a million dollars to me ok?
    1. Ryhen
no problem. I'm a very generous man. I can even share my underwear with you. How about that?
  20. celticmusicfan
LOL hahahahahaha you crack me up.No I want the toothbrush.
    1. Ryhen
      you got yourself a deal!!!
  21. celticmusicfan
I found this video about synchronicity let's watch.

nice video. that's quite a hint he gave there, but it's still kinda vague how he described the process of feedback loop within the vacuum. he didn't mention exactly how and why it happens. maybe he has it on his other videos or somewhere else. are you sure you want us to get involved in quantum physics? i'm cool with that as long as we only use words. my reality doesn't involve numbers.
