I read in the news last week that TCS may have layoff and job cuts. For now to avoid this, the chief of TCS has decided on Salary cuts.

Its true that the world is in recession and the IT companies in India have a major dependence on foreign conditions hence their work in getting impacted. But If all these companies give us up then we are we expected to go and work? We are ready for pay cuts and cuts in variable pay etc. But the companies for which we have been working day and night cannot fire us at will.

These companies can go and save money and have profits and just to maintain the profits, they are cutting employees today, but is it ethical and are we ready for such corporate governance in our country? Why we dont have any laws in Indai which would prevent this?



And ask whats going on :-(
