Teaching pregnant incarcerated females and juvenile sex offenders

Yes, this is my current job. I have been doing this for more than four years. I have also had a big part in baby placement when women have years and years to go in prison. Do you think anyone would be interested in hearing about my experiences on a blog. Just wondering.
I thought maybe some teachers would be curious about what teaching in a correctional facility is like.

Or maybe this is too depressing or dark of a topic?

I think it's a great topic. Just be careful about privacy issues.

  Are you kidding me I get searched every day going into work. Definitely no cell phones, cameras, etc. I am also not allowed to grade paper outside work - not such a bad thing! Yes, Privacy is key. Thanks for the opinion!

I'd say as long as you didn't divulge too much information, it could be EXTREMELY interesting and a good topic.

I sincerely do care what happens to my students regardless of their past or how much they've cussed me out. I am in this more for the rehabilitation than the corrections part, and NOT just the pay check. I would hate to do anything that would make their chances to make a new life and succeed even less than they already are. I understand what you are saying. Thank you
