Ever reach that wall in your training when no matter what you do you can't improve further and so you cheat by levering your toes off the edge of the scale?

Give me some tips in breaking that weight loss barrier once you've hit the drop-loss wall?

    A little more seriously:

    Eat less. Move around more.

I know this, but executing the knowledge is very difficult.

I'm assuming that you already know what a balanced diet is, and all those basics.

For me, re-arranging how I saw myself has been helping. A little.

Eat fish every day, along with fiber, dairy and a half-teaspoon of cinnamon. Sounds crazy, I know, but any time I've ever done this for a week I've lost 5-7 pounds in a week.

great advise MadameX I'll give it a try now the challenge will be not having a steak or a pizza immediately after the week. I try to exercise before breakfast so as to break down that body fat content.

    Load up on natural enzymes.
People today simply eat too much over-processed foods that do not break down fast enough
    in our digestive tract.
Most men today in America is carrying around at least 10lbs of undigested meat
or beef still trapped in their colon.
It is a problem of digestion that causes most weight gain and death begins in the stomach.
Also a lack of air, oxygen or good quality breathing that creates stress
and the cells become clogged without oxygen to kill the bacteria growth inside the cells
    and walls of your stomach.
Enzymes work to break down the foods to speed up digestion.
Papaya enzymes, Apples, bromelian works wonders.
Apple cider vinegar cleans up your kidneys, colon, heart and has an astral cleansing effect,
    so does cranberry juice.
I am now experimenting with natural proteins and amino acids you get from Cactus & Aloe Vera
to build up my immune system.
I am now juicing them suckers, the ingredient in Catcus called Nopol
helps people with diabetes problems and it also reduces weight gain.
I would say cleansing comes first while dieting and exercising.
Extensive studies were done on Catcus and Aloe Vera and you'll be surprise to learn its loaded
with amino acids that build up your immune system and strengthen your DNA.

Hey what do you think about the Jack Lalanne Juicer? What do you use?
    3. Jeunelle
Yes Apples carry pyruvate an enzyme a mitochondrial protein that helps to digest sugars and food fast and is now used in most weight loss supplements in Gnc and Nature Food stores.
  4. Jeunelle
@kevinatserieatalk....Yup the studies are out, most men in America is harboring some beef.

Jack Lalanne Juicer is good, I use one at home. I love to juice.
I have one called VitMix. www.vitamix.com/
It's a lot more expensive but it does everything.

When you hit the wall try this. Choose the three favorite things you still eat. And without substitution of other favorites, stop eating them. (Increase the difference by eating the three things you still eat, but least like to.)

The wall will be gone the next day.

See now I eat whatever the heck I want, I never had to substitute anything.
I simply work off what I eat and make sure my stuff is digested.
Some people do have a very slow metabolism though and you have to educate yourself as to what will help to speed it up, also women should check their thyroid for thyroid problems that seem to help put on the pounds.

    Mine is very simple actually

    "Eat Less.......Move More"
  8. Jeunelle
That is the problem....too many people don't eat less and move more.
They are too stressed out and they overeat and become couch potatoes so they move less.
    1. Sylvia
I guess it is a matter of self discipline

As with everything else in life, you have to have the mindset to achieve weight loss. You have to be focused and ready to be very strict, especially in a Plateau. This is where you should be changing up your routine. But you have to want it!

Well .. personally - I know I've got to stop buying bulk Reese's Puff cereal and Jumbo Cap'n Crunch cereal boxes! These would be anti-techiques for losing weight.
    1. MadameX
Is it the one with the berries? That's my favorite. I haven't had it in years, but you just gave me a craving.
  11. Jeunelle
@PetLvr...Captain Crunch comes in a Jumbo size now? WOW
Yes drop as much sugar as you can.
    1. PetLvr
Well, that's "Cap'n" (not Captain :D) .... it's more economy size than jumbo size. You get two bags of cereal in a wider box.
  12. Jeunelle
PetLvr..hahahaha Ok whatever rocks your boat.

Another thing I want to add is lots of people have Worms.
Yup I know this sounds gross and you don't want to talk about it but eating raw meats,
sushi, fish and even some raw vegetables will give you a nasty worm infestation.
I know lots of people who have worms simply from eating raw meat and sushi.

My family and I don't have that problem.
I use Wormwood in liquid form, it's bitter tasting
but I simply drop a few drops in water and worms hate it.

Lets just say that I don't have any worm problems.

I once had a customer come into my eyeglass shop to show me this tiny worm
that was crawling around in the inside of his sclera.
It was pretty gross and I told him what to do.
He doesn't have anymore worms crawling around in his eyeballs.
I asked him if he eats sushi and guess what, he said he eats sushi at least 5 times a week.
    Good God.
