I was remiss in not rating your blog before tonight. I start every day with a list of quotes from one particularly inspiring post. I read the words of wisdom on your blog every day.

    Thank you for writing it.
    1. DocNicole
Thanks for being my number one fan Joe! I always look forward to your comments. I do have to say that I was terrified the day that I saw that "crotchety old man" was linking to me. I thought it was going to be a "hate blog" for sure. LOL

I will add you to my "fan page" for sure dear!

I'm not terribly quick to say things, but jumped on this one. I have read and enjoyed your posts.

    Thanks

Thanks wolfcreek. This project is still very new to me so it is nice to have some positive feedback while I work out the frustrating bugs and learn how to blog.

Having access your blog is like getting the keys to a treasure house richly stocked with naturopathic health and wellbeing information. I have benefited greatly from reading your articles pertaining to fibromyalgia, raynauds and arthritis. In addition, the diet you specifically prepared for people like me is just what my body needed. Hi Doc, I just love your site and you. You not only present exciting and highly useful advice but you come across as someone who is full of vitality and life. Nothing could create a better environment for healing. You vivaciousness is contagious and many of your health tips are ones that people can start using right away. I am so glad you are on the internet. You not only help people heal but you make the internet a healthier place just being on it, which I REALLY appreciate. Bless you and thanks.

    Speed test results:

The test timed out, as the page did not complete loading in 13 sec.

You should definitely be concerned about your server's speed.

may just be a lag at the server end. Trust me its normally fast
    2. DocNicole
      wow thanks for checking that!
    3. DocNicole
@GFG- it timed out at 13 seconds for me too! Ugh...what to do? I thought it was running a little slow for HSI anyways...
    4. crkian
strange loaded in about 2 seconds for me then, is your host having an update
    5. RTBjr73
Now Doc, I TOLD YOU that all the nude dancing that you uploaded into Flash on the main page was going to slow you down!!!
    6. DocNicole
How else am I supposed to get people interested in their health?
    7. RTBjr73
Well, crkian, keeps checking for updates on how to quit smoking.

(crkian, I'm right there with ya...23 year smoker myself)
    8. DocNicole
Gosh did ya start smoking when you were eight?
    9. RTBjr73
I was 12, and I just had my yearly chest X-ray..still clear. My doctor HATES me.
    10. DocNicole
Yikes! Well I will be starting a smoking cessation program soon. At least switch to natural cigs. All the phenols and additives otherwise are just as harmful if not worse than the natural carcinogens. They put that stuff in there to make you more addicted anyways.
  8. RTBjr73
There is nothing wrong with her server. Maybe it's your connection.
    1. DocNicole
You guys are great thanks so much!
  9. crkian
Great job with the blog, I only read it when I have to all that health stuff goes above my head.

PS: Everyone notice the footer that says mattnutts.com
    1. RTBjr73
      smooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth as concrete
    2. DocNicole
Well I will get you to quit smoking one of these days Chris!
    3. timethief
Yay! for Chris - fantastic work!

P.S. The site loaded for me in 7 seconds flat.
    4. crkian
      quit smoking er...
    5. timethief
Quitting is hell. You may need to remove yourself from the family for at least 2 weeks, if not longer. Actually I'm an excellent quitter. My problem is the ease with which I can always start up again.
    6. crkian
its a habit i enjoy, its my only one. my wife has started smoking after every kid we have had andquit within 8 weeks
    7. DocNicole
I used to smoke two packs a day. I quit the day I was at work and saw an old lady with an oxygen tank. She smelled like smoke. It dawned on me that smoking was THAT addictive. She had to unhook her oxygen tank in order to smoke. Aw well...

Do as you wish my dear. I firmly believe that if someone like me can quit. ANYONE can!
    8. crkian
i quit before so i know i can.

i know what my lungs look like, i know what its doing to my body etc i just enjoy it
  10. DocNicole
There are other enjoyable things in life. Exercise and meditation are good!
  11. crkian
i do exercise but i dont get enough time to meditate unless watching the footie counts
    1. DocNicole
what is "watching the footie"? I am not hip to your lingo boy...
    2. crkian

  12. DocNicole
Aw I am not much of a footie fan. Guess I won't be a soccer mom, er footie mom.
