the best way to make money with blog:
1 -find some local speciality store in your area (hand made jewel, hand made clothes,art gallery, Pottery, traditional art and store ... etc)

2- meet the owner of the store

3- offer him a free website, domain name and hosting

4- start a blog about the store you are working with

5- update frequently your blog with new produce, art and picture you take yourself

6- be devoted and believe in your produce

7- here is the key : use paypal and other money transfer service and charge 5$ more by sold article and over charge 5$ in posting and handling so you ,ll do 10$ by each item sold! then after you buy the item and send them to the buyer.

8- chose store near your living area

9- very important your blog and shop have to be up to date !

10- if the owner wanna take over the Internet and wanna do Internet business by himself you can sell him your site and blog at a very good price and make lots of money!

11- keep the owner informed and awake his curiosity!

buy the domain , buy the hosting and make free website and blog for the shop you wanna work with.
i mean real shop on the street preferably in your neighbourhood

i know a few guys who build up their client list by going door to door. if you have a strong work ethic, u should make some cash doing this. nice post ttiger.

if you want to take it a step further. set up your own web hosting company. that way, u can profit off of domain regs and web hosting.

yeah but hosting is kinda cheap today for 20$ a mouth you can have a good virtual hosting plan!

If you are doing this you have to have astore nearby ni a very specific niche, otherwise somebody will just buy the goods wholesale and undercut your prices.

Why would the owner of a store you created with all of his products etc want to buy "HIS/HER" site from you?

And, that $5 double-dip seems shady! But, you should either take a commission on each sale, or fixed dollar on every post you make besides the initial setup fees.

I used to have a reseller-pro account ace-host.net/resellerplans.html that probably would be suitable for this. I presume you would want to get more than one client.
