Bad news for Ahnold, his fave brand of car will be on the chopping block for the GM's bankruptcy.

So what will America be like without an SUV named after a sexual act?

good riddance. The only Hummer I didn't think was a complete monstrosity was the original H1, and then only if you are actually using it for something that you might actually need a hummer for.

In other words, not for taking your damn kids to school.

The H2 was pretty ugly, and the H3 was just hideous.

It will be a better America. There are few things more vulgar than a white Hummer stretch limousine, something I've seen in New York. Let's bring back taste - getting rid of Hummer is a good start.

Yeah this wasn't really my favorite vehicle either. My jeep was better and my pick up is better too
Only hummer I would've considered buying was the first to be marketed to the public as you could deflate and inflate your tires with the push of a button and me liking to go off road thought that was a nice feature. The other thing it had going for it is you didn't need a snorkel kit to take it in water that almost went up to the top of hood and you had complete ground clearance as the axles were not hanging down as with all other vehicles. However I chose to stick with my jeep wrangler.

  My pick up is bigger but nicer There are a lot and I mean a lot of hummers by me but the funny thing is that most of them are driven by the soccer Moms LOL! And that is not a joke. By me it is just one of the cars people buy to show how much money they have.
  And wait a minute I resemble the take two parking spots in a parking lot comment!! Got no choice in a 30,000 lb bus though

  Yeah Government Motors is selling that division and the buyer will not be revealed until the deal is done (according to CNBC today). So maybe a security group of insecurities will buy it. I thought the military type one in the beginning were interesting and maybe useful if I lived in ? Peru, Bolivia (somewhere with no roads). The later models (not used by the military) were just stupid.

For instance, if you were the son of a Nazi officer and tried to live up to the Aryan ideal by juicing the steroids which shrank your junk such that you had to make up for it by groping women, calling people "girlie-men" and running for the Govornorship of California then driving a Hummer might temporarily alleviate your self hatred
