The "get Adsense" now button

After I click yes to the "get Adsense" now button, do I have any methods of control or input with it ?

Or do I simply have to accept what Google throws on my blog ?

I have adsense ads on my blog. I find that it usually puts ads up that relate to the post. I don't think you have much control.

I guess I'm hinting at how there appears to be bucket loads of bloggers blogs out there that advocate its use, but don't actually appear to have them installed on their blogs. So how is this so ?

No you have no control over the ads.The ads will appear automatically as per the niche on your page as crawled by Googlebot.

You can banned websites/any ads which you don't like, you can change/re-change the font and colors, you can put your adsense into the < div > your code < /div > which then you can put some styling like width, height and overflow action. or you can put other ads to display if the adsense is not available. from what i am experiencing right now, the adsense is not about styling, it is all about location (most of the time).
