Pip! Pip! Tally-ho!

The flashlight will be unnecessary. Moose are crepuscular. They feed primarily at dawn and dusk.

On Friday, I am taking a circuitous route home and hope to be within moose range by about 6:30-7:00 am, prime moose watching time. I don't have a very strong zoom on my point and click camera, so unless the moose does a tapdance next to my car, I'm not going to safely take any decent pix. I do, however, have high powered binoculars so I will see Mr. or Mrs. Moose if he/she chooses to appear.

My three must takes: an urn of coffee, my trusty girl boxer Maddie and my sleeping bag in case of emergency. Oh, and bug spray. Lots and lots of bug spray.

I'm bringing a Barrett M107, an RPG, and truck mounted anti-aircraft turret. We'll be having moose nuggets for dinner.

  But here a Barrett is a house and the M107 is a road
  so it sounds as though you have a big fucking giant gun on the roof of your house situated on a freeway.
