I just posted two articles, one about a suggested response of society to inappropriate comments or conduct, and another on apologies once one has made a mistake.

If a politician, celebrity or anyone else commits a crime, it's the law's business. If they commit a so-called immoral act it's between themselves, their spouse and God. In no way is any of this the public's business. The public's business is to get on with their own lives. -
It seems to me that celebs can put their foot in their mouth over and over, and still have tons of fans who become apologists for their rude and immature behaviors. Ut also seems to me that our society ids becoming more tolerant of bad behaviors. Celeb worship is not now and has never been a part of my life. Too bad other people make it part of theirs.
