Not all Wordpress theme comes with a home.php file.

If you want to have a whole new look to your homepage this is what you must have.

Simply create a php from any text editor and name it as home.php now link to some style.css. If you happen to like someone website design or any design. You can check out the CSS file using firebug Mozilla addon or follow the style css link in the source page.

You can have or use different header.php file etc to have a different look on the header section. And also use second sidebar on the homepage. The wordpress 'include function' will do the work. v
