I just want to have a peaceful thread in memory for all of those who passed on 9-11 and in the after math due to the effects of that day.
Not looking for blaming, or arguments, or theories, or political beliefs. Just a simple memorial for those who were lost.
My step son George Andrew Llanes had worked for Carr Futures.
Carr Futures was located on 92nd floor of WTC 1 ( North Tower )just below the impact area. On the morning of September 11th, the office of Carr Futures on the 92nd floor was unusually busy.
A total of 68 men and women were on the floor. Carr was two floors below the impact and everyone there had survived it; yet they could not get out.
They perished when the building collapsed 102 minutes later.
We get to see George at a grave site in Staten Island, since a piece had been recovered and matched with DNA.
His headstone reads.
George Andrew Llanes - World Trade Center.

Yo, Yo, Yo!!!!!!!
This is not about my loss
too many people have lost people.
Please, keep this for all, I just told my story and I want other to tell theirs.
Some kid in Afghanistan lost his mother, Some Father in Iraq, lost his son, lets please keep this to all of us.
Believe me, I'll go back to hating you all later on! -
I lost two people in the 911 tragedy. A very good friend that I knew for almost 20 years and my former brother-in-law; both worked in the twin towers.
My husband and I were originally scheduled to be on flight 93 but a couple of weeks before, our travel plans changed so we changed our flight to a week later (which we ended up not doing because of what happened).
I didn't realize we were supposed to be on that particular flight until a few days later when I saw our original itinerary. It was a moment of extreme gratitude.
My thoughts go out to all who died that terrible day and to anyone who lost someone. -
I did not know anyone personally, concerning the tragedy of 9/11. But, I certainly wept for everyone who died that day and for those who would never see thier loved one's again...
There is nothing worse than innocent people dying for someone else's cause...
Don't weep at my grave,
For I am not there,
I've a date with a butterfly
To dance in the air.
I'll be singing in the sunshine,
Wild and free,
Playing tag with the wind,
While I'm waiting for thee.
