After a number of years blogging I have finally decided to start a new blog on consciousness. I have thrown together a few quick posts to get it up and running.

it is called the Star People

The site looks very nice indeed. I listened to the video of Greg Bradden on Consciousness and he had some really interesting things to say about the magnetic and electronic fields in the body.

So I went looking further on Youtube, to find what else he has to say and in another video he explains his understanding of the difference between thoughts, feelings and emotion.

I think that are all really very interesting subjects, so thanks for uploading such videos on your site.

thanks Anthe, I'm gradually adding more content.

      Braden is fascinating

I just had a look and it seems like really interesting reading material. And I saw some interesting links as well, Fritjof Capra who, I found out now, has a new book The science of Leonardo, inside the mind of the great genius of the Renaissance.

I loved Capra’s book The Tao of Physics (although it has been a while sinds I read it) and this one looks interesting as well.

A really good idea to have a blog where the great minds of the world are featured!

thanks, if you think you have a great mind, I'll add you too. Can you write about this sort of thing?

I read Capra's book about 30 years ago. A nice meeting point between Science and Dharma

The whole thing is not about agreeing, but to consider looking at the world from another view.

Yes, considering to look at the world from another view, that is exactly what I feel is needed. And as far as I am concerned, I love to disagree and discuss that in a respectful way.

But I am not capable of writing on such subjects. I wish I was, but I have enough trouble to get my own thinking clear, let alone getting it coherent enough to write about.

People that are very capable of that (in my opinion that is) are on Gaia, a community that is filled with people who can write about all that. They even sometimes have a symposium where a group of people writes a blog about such subjects. Last year or so they had the subject: Enactivism, Integral Theory, and 21st Century Spirituality, which I followed with great interest.

The great thing with such projects is that everyone gives their own view on a subject in a few days (every day one participant) and is expected to react on eachothers writings. Really fascinating!

      thanks

a friend of mine told me about GAIA network

      i appreciate your feedback

    Panda,

Those clouds look like sylphs to me.

    1. acousticguitarist
harvey, I'm not familiar with them. I am an Arcturian red panda
    2. harveyavatar
ARP Oh, they like to drop in, especially when you have orgonite around.

    3. acousticguitarist
harvey... we are not seeing the same thing
    4. harveyavatar
Indeed, it's off topic. However, in reference to your post, I like the idea of observing sylphs through their life cycle

    I ♥ it. It's also related to my personal blog - w00t!
    1. acousticguitarist
you could write me an article ... hint hint
    2. timethief
I'd ♥ to write you a guest post but that will have to be in the future. In between I'll try and squeeze in a post on my blog, introducing your new blog to my readers. (I'll send you a shout to explain why I can't do a guest post, right away.)

Nice job. I will frequent it often. Personally, I have read all Gregg Braden's books as well as John Kabat Zinn, Krishnamurti, Kahlil Gibran, Ken Wilber, etc. Trying to do my part to expand the consciousness as well. For me it all started with personal a revelation in 1987. You might enjoy checking out a little known book (antiquated by today's info. but interesting nonethelesss) called Unknown Man by Yatri. Interesting perspective. At the time it was a bit out there for many people. Thumbs up on your blog.
    1. acousticguitarist
thanks. Do you have a relevant blog that I / we could visit? If so please post he link
    2. tcinvestor
I let my other blogs slack a bit since they were a bit too parallel to my wellness blog and it was better to focus on one primary in that realm. Maybe I will rework them in the same tone as your theme. Now that I think about it..I don't know why I haven't been doing that already. Hmm..guess this was the time to connect to acousticguitarist to expand the consciousness. Thanks. Until I get that rolling, this week I will roll out your blog on a post on my Live Smart blog to help expose your content.
