Part 2

The wise men brought their gifts to the family of Jesus. Joseph was scared, the Tibetans were strange looking. When he saw the gold he felt that it could be trouble ahead; they were a very poor family and he thought that if anyone found out about the gifts that they would be accussed of stealing. The others that were present, some of the Essenes who had been waiting for the birth, encouraged Joseph to accept the gifts.

It was not the spices or the gold that was of greater importance, it was the symbols on vesels which would eventually impact on the young Jesus's life. Throughout the years, the family kept the vessels safe. It was the strangeness of the objects that had always aroused Jesus's curiosity. The symbols were Tibetasn Buddhist symbols and at thirteen years old Jesus set out on his journey to the Far East in search of those that had come to see him at his birth place in Bethlehem. And so the wise men of Tibetan origin returned home another way. They had seen the holy child.
