There must be someone who likes this type of poetry

I love writing this type of poetry but it.s not to everyones taste, but if you do, i have started a blog dedicated to these type of poems.

Train Driver

So here I am a train driver
Sitting in my little room
The job that most boys dream about
Whilst in their school classroom

There are buttons, switches and levers
And even a computer screen
That tells customers where we’re going
And sometimes where we’ve been

Now as the customers sit
And ponder on their day
There’s something that us drivers
Would dearly love to say

Please don’t give us hassle
Or shout, scream and curse
The train has broken down
And your making matters worse

We’re really trying to fix it
And get back on the rails
But you really have to remember
It takes more than a hammer and nails

So if the train breaks down one night
And your wondering what the hell
Please spare a thought for the driver
He’s trying to get home as well
