How different would your life be if your mobile phone was taken away.

Take that to the next level... Mobile phones are also taken away from everyone you know... including your partner, friends, colleges, boss and parents...

Would anything change...

Would you be better of or worse...

Think... and lemme know what you feel...

I have thrown my phone out twice, but it always finds its way back home. It needs me more than I need it.

And more than one person out there feels that you will miss it... and your life just wouldn't be the same without it...

My ex uses it as a form of torture. His texts alone make me want to hang myself with my bed sheets. I keep my phone off more than it stays on.

I'm probably about the only person on the planet without a mobile phone.

And do you feel different.... why don't you own one...

Because I don't really need one, it would be an added cost.

Plus, I had been in a job where if I had had one, my boss would have called me perpetually-- at home, on the weekends, where ever.

Most folks who want to get a hold of me quickly just email.

@Thriftshop: Make that two of us. I don't even have a credit card or a checking account. And the only reason I have a computer is because my daughter needed one for school.

So two of us cell-phone-less-- hurray! Cellphonefree unite!

      (Ahem)

It's just I figured I'd be the only one.

Yeah, if I ever became stranded on the side of the road, I would be screwed.

I just pop my hood and hike my skirt up. You wouldn't believe how friendly people can be.

LOL... Of course we need GPS to cross the road...

Q: Why didnt the chicken cross the road
A: Because it did not have a GPS enabled mobile phone

Ok...After that... I can proceed to kill myself now :-)

Oh my this would be quite painful initially. If everyone else had the same type of disease -cellphonitis - then I guess I could work with that because everyone would be going through the same type of withdrawal.

Last week I made the mistake of leaving my cellphone home it was horrific....I realize that I keep way to much in there not to mention I don't know anyone's number without it.
    1. bloggore
Naah! You cant afford to have your cell phone taken away from ya
    2. faithsju243
Believe me it was bad I actually went to my electronic bill to try to piece together what numbers belonged to who....it was tough but it taught me a valuable lesson......even if I'm running late I must always go back for the cellphone

Awright... think... do you think you could get used to life without a cell phone if it was taken away from you for a month
    4. faithsju243
Of course but I can't guarantee I would be happy. If I had to I would then carry more crap in my purse: phonebook, planner and notebook are the things that come to mind first because those are the primary uses I have for my cell.

I've never had a cell, never felt I needed one. Sure I get lot's of complaints, but I really don't care. You can leave me a message at home, if I wan't I'll call you back. There's nothing worse than being in a vehicle with someone while they are on the phone.

We don't have a cell phone.

And I would imagine the world would go back to the same exact way it was just a few, (relatively) short years ago.

It's not really hard to imagine.

For me, not much would change except that I'd have to pay the evil giant some money every month to have a land line. That, and I'd feel about ninety times safer on the road, when idiots in SUVs won't be blabbing or texting and drift into my lane or run stop lights/signs in front of me.
