Instead of "About me" I'm choosen to add some flavor to my blog and rename the section "This is why I'm hot"

I understand not everyone is going to get the reference, but it's from an extremely popular hip hop song last year - "This is why I'm hot" by Mims

Does this sound over-confident? Am I just being a jerk?

Even though alot of my readers aren't going to get the Mims reference I still think it's funny and cute

But everyone keep in mind that your blog is like your baby, rarely does everyone else think it's as funny or cute as YOU do. I appreciate the feedback.

I know the song (regretfully,) but I dont think people who dont would automatically find you pompous unless your actual "about me" was. I think you should keep it that way. Its funny. UNLESS youre hot cuz im not. Because if thats the case, youre a jerk

I have clicked through to the blog and read your statement. It doesn't sound in the least swelled headed to me. IMO it actually sounds quite humble and amusing.

What you do is demystify and simplify and you couldn't do that if your weren't on top of current trends and happenings. Also it's increasingly important for bloggers access to have resources like your blog and access people like you and Tim because we need to become more skillful than we ever needed to be in the past.

Go for it sounds like a great Idea to me. There is nothing like shaking things up. The right people will get it. I started a group called "The Twitswag Project" It is doing well on twitter not sure how members here will view it. Any way keep shaking things up what kind of coder are you I'm a web-designer.
