I was excited when I first heard my wife buy me tickets for Cirque Du Soleil - Saltimbanco ... I posted it on my blog as soon as I found out!

Here's a description about it I got somewhere (forgot where I copied this) - there's about 15 or so different shows travelling the world right now!
Saltimbanco is a Cirque du Soleil signature show inspired by the urban fabric of the metropolis and its colorful inhabitants. Decidedly baroque in its visual vocabulary, the show's eclectic cast of characters draws spectators into a fanciful, dreamlike world, an imaginary city where diversity is a cause for hope.

The neat thing about it - We saw the show on Wednesday July 9, 2008 .. my seat was:
Section 222 Row 7 Seat 11
7/11 !! That's my birthday July 11th .. neat eh? I like "lucky" coincidences like that .. we were the top row of section 222 by the wall at our backs. We could have been closer, but what a view we got. It's funny, but we arrived in our seats at 7:10pm (my wife sat at Seat 10, Row 7) and the show started at 7:30pm. There was one 20 minute intermission and it ended at about 9:50pm
I personally liked the artistic bike skit and the Chinese poles .. I'll put up a better review and post on one of my sites during the weekend, with more pictures and tidbit news .. I was a consumer and bought the program, a coffee mug and a t-shirt

I must say - here is a series of blogs of the Jester, Jesko (by the real person 2002-2005) and the show (with a different Jesko) was almost identical
