Today I did something for the very first time and I want to share it with you. Click my avatar and then my SKDD site. The rest of the story is unfolding over at Half Hour Meals dot com and it is deliciously interesting.

A little taste to whet your appetite.

Here is my end result.

I removed the seeds so the raspberry puree can be used as a jam or spread, a filling in-between my cakes or thinned down a tad for a design on a dessert plate before the main dessert is gently placed on top. It goes great with fudge chocolate brownies, like this for instance ...

It is simple, easy and such a mouthful of delicious. Wish you could taste it!

I had a big fight with some of Cooking Asshole's readers because my banana bread didn't have pecans. So I calmly suggested that they drink a beer called Southern Pecan with it.
I'm betting if you've been to his site you know I was in over my head! -

Over at Half Hour meals, there are so many delicious blogger recipes. Find a few and prepare them verbatim or do as I and adapt their recipe ideas to your individual taste. This is a great dish I used from one of BC and HHM blogger Living The Gourmet.

Here is the recipe I used and then I added in steamed buttered dill baby carrots on the side, three pepper slices, yellow, green and red for color, mushrooms and a few pepper flakes. The food that looks like it is meatballs are figs. I had never used them i a pasta dish and that is the real reason behind my choosing Catherine's recipe to begin with. It is amazingly delicious, fast and leftovers don't last long.
* Disclaimer I was asked about the recipe so I provided the link. It is pertinent.

So I decided to prepare my second maiden voyage and this time it was:
Pear Apricot Jam

It is a way of cooking that is memorable, not eaten up all at once and can be wonderful gifts to make for those you care about. Find out what they like to eat and I guarantee there is an easy recipe that you can make and pour or spoon into a jar.

We love you bye-bye!
