I have been reading about the Twitter phenomenon in newspapers for around six months now. Read on a few blogs on blogging that being on Twitter helps those bloggers attract hundreds of visitors daily to their blogs. That made me join this microblogging site a couple of months back. It didn't impress me much and I realized inorder to get visitors from Twitter I would first have to spend considerable time gaining followers.

There wasn't much to do this week (at workplace) and I making full use of unrestricted web access through a proxy server (URL provided by a colleague) I scanned the web thoroughly to increase my understanding of the blogosphere.

Stumbled upon Twitterholic while googling Jhangora and one link led to another and I realised Twitter is serious business among social media fans on the web.
