So, I came across a great little article by Daniel Scocco from DBT...and it got me thinking, what is more effective for you - Twitter or Digg?
I used to like Digg, but, I've been getting much better results from Twitter lately.
What are your thoughts? Do people still like Digg more?

I agree - it's an apple to orange comparison.
Digg is social bookmarking community where a great number of bloggers meet to read posts and “Digg” (vote on) their articles to get more visitors to their blogs. The website and it maintains credibility by using a “voting” process. The better the article submitted is the more diggs it gets and, the best of all appear on the front pages. Mutual friends play the most important role for us on digg, they digg (vote on) our stories and move our stories to top positions where others can notice, pushing them onto to the front page. The number of your blog posts posts submitted to Digg and the votes they get on Digg does affect on your blog's PageRank.
twitter is a micro blogging platform where you can use 140 characters to "tweet" or promote your posts, and get your followers to re-tweet them for you. There is no "voting" system as twitter is basically a messaging system, and consequently, the tweets you and your followers make have no affect on your blog's PageRank.
I rarely bother with Digg. I tweet my posts after publication. I get traffic from BC, stumbleupon and now a little bit from twitter.
