how many people out there have twitter AND a blog? I signed up for twitter a month or so ago but can't say that I love or really understand it. it sort of competes with my blog. can anyone give me a good reason to stay with twitter?

I found out that people think twitter is a chat/messenger type of tool. AND THEY CLOG UP MY TWITTER!!!!

  Isn't Twitter a chat/messenger tool? I thought the whole point was to bring some social to social networking. If you're all about promotion and tweet nothing interesting for people to enjoy and feel like they can get to know you, then why would people follow you on Twitter rather than just subscribing to your blog?

I joined, but don't really understand how it actually works. Seems like I am just talking to myself when I post on it. I can't see others on it LOL

I don't think it's really for me. I leave regular status updates on my facebook for my friends anyway
