It is just a matter of time until Twitter launches its first reality tv show. In order for it to be a hit, it has to be different from any other reality tv show we have seen so far. Considering the fusion process that TV and the Internet have started already, what do you think twitter's fresh and original approach should be?

Here is my idea so far:

No offense, but that is a dumb idea. Twitter TV? No thanks

actually, that part is a fact. twitter really is working on a tv version of itself.

The teaser was actually well done - congrats on that.

But the whole twitter reality TV option is a FAIL - from what I heard. One of the biggest thoughts last spring was to have a scavenger hunt "live tweeting" to find and hunt down celebrities and musicians - like TMZ on speed x 10. I don't think that will ever work and believe people would rather see celebrities tweeting, than other people talking about celebrities and what bathroom they see them go into.

thanks for the feedback. yes, I do know of that info. Ashton Kutcher was behind that idea originally, but the project could just never take off. If Twitter won't do it, then someone else will. But Twitter's main strength is the instant blog concept, which can easily be translated into a video version (maybe not 4 cameras). It is for sure where the future is going. Porn has been doing a similar concept for years, where the customer logs on to a site a instructs the girl on the webcam to do naughty stuff to herself. It's live, it's interactive, and it makes millions of dollars.

Great blog, baldguy. Looks like you have some interesting, extremely creative ideas. And most importantly, thanks for promising never to wear a pink shirt:
