Two Answers

Just wanted to highlight two things on my general discussion thread that asked "Is the topic of faith welcome here?"
First, the thread was locked after a quick run to 93 comments. However, a reason behind the locking was posted by one of the admins who locked it...and I thought that was great! Thank you!
The actual reason, "petty arguing," for locking is a good reason to lock and kind of answers my question in the negative...as in some members don't welcome the topic...or apparently me.
Secondly, the same admin posted this in his explanation: The topic of faith is always welcome here. However, petty arguing is not.
So, the "answer" finally came...only there was two of them! An official administrative answer...and an answer that came as the result of the interaction on the thread.
Once again...thank you BC admins! ...and those that took part in the discussion!

BC has answered this question many times in the past, so I'm not sure why it was an issue again. Maybe you should bookmark the thread you mention, so that you have it the next time this question presents itself to you.-

Right, two essentially identical answers. Is there any purpose to this thread other than keeping your grievance on the front page?-
Which topics do you prefer on the front page? I thought this was a very good topic.
Also, not sure where you see two "essentially identical answers".
