Two invitations - which one'll you choose?

When you get two invitations at the same time, how do you choose which one to accept? And what excuse do you use to avoid going to something you don't want to attend?

Unless my mother really guilts me into it, I just deny acceptance LOL Life's to short to attend a function just because someone thinks you should - if you're going to be miserable, just say No.

I let my wife decide most times...she's a better judge of what's going to be fun.

Easy, choose the one you think will be more enjoyable. The excuse for the second one, you ask. Tell them you have the flaming shits. They wont asks any questions OR give you a hard time about not showing up.

Oh man! I would find it quite difficult to choose between two invites! But I think honesty works best.

As for using an excuse, if I don't want to go, I just say no.
