Let me brag about the fact that today my blog (ontheroadto1m.wordpress.com/) has seen one of those nice and uplifting traffic spikes.
I was expecting to get quite a few visits because of the controversial title of my post on the coverage of the health care debate. But I was very surprised when I saw where most of the traffic was coming from.
In the post I link to a news story from CNN.com. It turns out that below the story they have a section where they mention all the blogs that are linking to them. My blog was there, and it turns out that CNN delivered most of my traffic today. Thank you CNN, what a nice surprise!

That's wonderful. I had that happen with the Huffington Post. I also had my blog come up as a top result (#2) in a search on Reuters web search page.

It's been 3 days now, and today the post got more traffic from CNN than ever -I suppose that not so many people follow the news on Sundays.
I'd never had so many comments on a post before, and I have to credit CNN.com for sending all those readers.
