I was reading an account by Hitler's doctor in which he said the only reason the fuhrer was a vegetarian was because he had uncontrollable and savage smelling wind. He thought that by eating only mashed up vegtables he would dampen down the aroma of his "uber farts" when in reality it only exacerbated the problem.

  Hey xtremer (VERY cool name by the way!) I don't oppose ANYONE ELSE eating meat. I just don't choose to do it myself. Don't assume all vegetarians have the same (if any) ideology.

I'm assuming-- now that I've had some more coffee -- that the thread was designed to make a point, indicating that threads against any sort of group will hurt people, and rile things up.

I think because so many of us have hung out with you quite a bit, RedPanda, that the point got lost while we looked for motivators and context. (And more coffee.)

  No, i'm really OK. I was very angry at the guy that said that the US should invade Pakistan. I couldn't believe it really. I've had a number of days to cool off and work on my 'we're all different, and it's ok' attitude. He pushed a button I never knew I had.

  I can't, I tried, it was like eating some sort of alien mass and I wanted to vomit, I tried about four or five times over a couple of months. My brain is wired differently

@Tony (AcousticGuitarist): I agree. Titles matter. That's why I called GMoney on his "Don't Vote for a White Woman" title. I know he's not racist, but his title was inflammatory. A lot of other titles are too. In a rush to shock and attract readers, too often we don't bother to create an attractive title that draws in the reader without resorting to such shock tactics.

what, wont u eat any veg? so every day u eat only non veg?. u cant be healthy with non veg. take back ur words..Veggi's are brilliants, powerfull minded..compared to non veg people..wont u feel pain while killing an animal and eating..? what if some one kills ur brother or father and eat..then u feel pain right? same way for animals also.... STOP EATING NON VEG !!!

hahaha mann some of these replies are pretty funny.. i actually think that it takes great will power to do what they do.. i personally am not a big person when it comes to meat.. i just dont really like it. but i do like chicken.. and even tho i dont eat it everyday. i think somewhere down the line it will be cut from my diet

I also know that dont eating meat is not bad for your heath, you can live a much better and healthier life being vegetarian. Just watch the documentary about how they treat the animals and probably you will rethink about eating meat. Also they say that todays Americans have a much smaller head than the frenchs because of the high volume of meat consumed on the USA. VEGETARIANS SAVE'S THE WORLD>....
