You're assuming we understand what you mean by these terms. How about explaining yourself a little. These one-line discussion threads are non-starters.

Of course, we could save ourselves some trouble and assume you're talking about varieties of spam.

Raffleblog..what do you mean by each term?

you don't know viral marketing? Sorry I think all blogger knews that?

Whatever gave you that idea? Have you visited people's blogs here? If you do, you might discover many of us have nothing to do with any kind of marketing.

Also, who am I to assume that I know what *you* understand by the term? You have already demonstrated that you do not understand the rules of netiquette on these threads, so I'm through with making assumptions.

Now how about an answer? If you're not willing to give one, quit pestering us.

There are many aspects to viral marketing. To ask the question which can drive more traffic makes little sense since you aren't focusing the discussion on specific strategies within viral marketing and email marketing. The answer to your question is IT DEPENDS since you aren't giving us enough information to really answer it. Your posts are coming across spammy like you somehow believe that posting questions like this and including more words in your tag than in your post will somehow benefit you.

Yes you are full of spam. You real intention is to spam this community. Please stop or we are going to restrict your rights to post on the discussions.

More traffic, it is not on the method. it is on your content.

Oh really... if you have an excellent content but you don't know how to promote your blog... hmmm traffic is impossible

That's largely true. One blog in a million might get "discovered" like a 1940s actress at a lunch counter, but for the most part having good stuff to offer won't do you a bit of good if you're not effectively telling people that it's there.

Your question leaves a lot lacking, though. The most effective methods of marketing a site depend on many factors, including your target audience. All email campaigns are not created equal, and viral marketing can be wildly effective when it takes off, but the vast majority of viral marketing efforts do not.

So how do you market your blog... and what marketing campaign did you used to get more readers and subscribers

I recommend using both strategy. But viral is better in the long run.
