Do you use visualization to manifest the things you want in your life?

If so, how successful has it been for you? What is the most amazing result you have achieved?

If not, do you think it would work for you?

I believe that if you visualize or meditate for something good with honest heart then it will come true. I have seen it working for me.

Not exactly what I have visualized but the feeling while visualizing things come in real life ...

It may be that I am closed minded or rigid... I see no possible way that something such as visualization could manifest anything outside of insanity.

My mother-in-law spent years upon years in this practice with zero results. Her circle of friends practiced visualization, all with zero results.

    The practice makes no sense.
It is the reaching outside of reality to bring something into reality.

I think it's important to take action as well as plan and visualize the desired outcome. I find visualizing makes it more fun and gives you more ideas of what things you can do to accomplish a goal.

I visualize everyday for ideas and for work which has helped especially when I forget something I just go back in time and visualize it.

Yes, I do use creative visualization and have done so as part of my spiritual life for decades. My visualizations have nothing whatsoever to do with acquiring "material things" ie. "wealth". I'm deeply offended by self-styled LOA (law of attraction) gurus, who are teaching visualization as a means of acquisition of wealth, so I do NOT wish to share my experiences with you.

timethief, sorry you are offended by those who propose that the law of attraction can be used to acquire wealth. I think it's like anything else people want in their lives, like love, connection, experiences, fun times, good food, romance etc. It's all good and I don't feel wanting material things is any different. I do agree with you that some exploit the teachings of the law of attraction for little more than their own personal compensation. Many however just want to share want they have discovered to be a way to improve people's lives.

No, I don't use visualization because I already have everything I want.

Yes I do use visualization. I don't use it to aquire wealth as Time Thief stated. I use it to calm myself when I'm thinking about a scenario that scares or worries me. I visualize a peaceful outcome. I like to visualize having a positive day by picturing myself enjoying my day.

it's good for arranging furniture, but practical realities always spoil the plan

I could name the creative visualization my profession (I am an artist)thus everything you see on my blogs came due to my visualizations. I have 6 active blogs at a moment and no time to complain for the hardships of life with disabilities.
The above sounds nice, I think, unfortunately, I look at each new post on my artbytomas.blogspot.com/ as at the last more and more frequently - cost for living exceeds my income more and more and creative visualization provide no support.

I use visualisation to attract positive energy into my life. Not only do I visualise it but I also practice positivity by act of kindness and gratitude for my blessings in life (health, family, love). Visualisation for me is injecting positivity in my thoughts like, picturing my love ones in good health, seeing myself surrounded by happy people, etc.

Visualisation works very well for me. I use it to rehearse how I want a future event to happen. Literally running wat I will do through my mind.

Some people find visualisation difficult, possibly because they think that they are not "visual" people. My advice is just pretend you can, it can still have the same effect. i have written a couple of articles about the suject see this link www.yourhypnotistblog.co.uk/search/label/visualisation.

Yes this is working for me, but its a lot more then visualization. I have been documenting my journey in my blog Believe. Here is my insight.

While visualisation is a useful tool, it only becomes useful in the LOA if you feel that vision as well. And no, it is not about the money at all. It is about taking control and designing your life how you want it. Most people just so happen to enjoy finacial freedom, which there is nothing wrong with wanting or desiring that. I for instance, want to have the experience of traveling to various places around the world, and have plans of how I want to design my life. Also, while a vision is important, it is also important to be open to that vision changing as you go along your journey.
As you change, your vision may change.

The most important tool to start to utilize, is your intuition, and sit in silence, quiet your thoughts, for at least 15 minutes a day. Do not think about anything, just sit in complete silence.

Manifesting with visualization is actually scary true. I've seen this work with someone who is a real believer in this concept. If anyone actually applies these concepts, over time it really does work. What interests me is the why this works. There are different theories, but the cause and effect intrigue me.

I've tried that...it doesn't work very well for me.

There are different approaches towards visualization. There are simple-minded approaches that are a little pointless. The approaches that work best go beyond visualization into the philosophy behind the idea. Visualization is not a jinni in a bottle. It is a tool towards self-improvement. Actually, visualization has the potential to get into very deep areas.
