A lot of people complain that Web Proxys are not working at their Works / Schools computer because they have been banned by administrators. A way around this would be to setup your very own proxy server that is being hosted either by a free web hosting service that supports either php or cgi or your own website that is being hosted by a web hosting company.

Thanks for coming up with this discussion because I was about to create my own. I've looking for this one on how to create my own proxy site. I tried Glype Proxy script but on a free web hosting at awardspacedotcom. Uploaded all the files as instructed in the Read Me, but when I tried to check the site it won't show up. I just thought if you have any idea why it doesn't work.
Can you share more about it like the web hosting site that make it easier to install the scripts. Thank you and have great day.-
use a better one www.noadsfree.com/ or www.00webhosts.com
these hosts are better into type of files that can be uploaded, it wont give u an error then and these are easy to CHMOD ! -
I think you mean www.000webhost.com/ . 000webhost wants you to authenticate your ip address by exectuting a malware filled exe file, when you open an account. I emailed the admins of the site to ask about this. Even though there are plenty of ways to capture the client's IP address without the need of installing 3rd party software, the admins there insist that there is no other way.

I've checkout the sits but www.00webhost.com doesn't seem to work. I think sriraminhell has corrected the site, is that the right site? If this site wants you to install a third party software and execute a malware filled file then I wouldn't suggest that you guys try it.
Well thanks for the info sriraminhell.. -
proxy servers are the way forward on the net, especially when the net becomes (already become) locked down by big bro.
As of March this year in the UK we will have our emails monitored, then they plan to introduce IMRP - track what websites we search for.
And all in the name of the so called 'to combat terrorism' argument.
