Want a video exclusively starring your blog?

Polybore has not made a video for a while and is worried about getting rusty. So to get some practice in, try out some new techniques and promote the blog polybore would like to know if you would like a video advertising your blog?

This is not a competition but for the video to be any good polybore is going to have get inspired by an idea for a video based on your blog. So if your blog is not chosen it will not be because polybore does not like your blog but because the eureka moment did not happen. But if the ideas and inspiration do come polybore may end up making a few videos for different blogs.
Ok here is the shameless bit. If you are interested write a post on your blog and include any strong images, videos, logos related to your blog along with ideas that you might have. Send polybore the url either by shoutbox here or via the contact me button on the blog polybore.co.uk (base of left sidebar)
Any questions or thoughts on this please discuss away. Like would having a video advertising your blog on youtube be a good thing to have?

you can do one on pigs and bees. It is called a pigbee. lol I have no clue what kind of logo that would be-
Polybore's imagination can be pretty off the wall sometimes so pigbees don't seem that far from reality. Although polybore is thinking more a pig bumble bee hybrid at the moment rather than a pig/ honey bee.

If you can get some images etc together and "brain storm" (yikes hate that phrase) it a bit we will see what we can do.

Absolutely the header of your blog image already lends itself to a few ideas. Have a think about it and pull some text and "stuff" together and we will see.

I did a post about 9 months ago (early in December) on the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto and his work on classical music and water. There's already some YouTube videos on different pieces that could inspire you perhaps.-
Very intriguing chuck some links together. Could you provide some original? Maybe we could be influenced by the style and set some images to your music?

Dr. Emoto charges $5,000 per picture and that's a little out of my price range, and I don't have the equipment to flash-freeze water and photograph it under a microscope in my 2-bedroom apartment. However here's some links for you to look at:

Ok the first video will be ready in 17hrs, it has been on the go now for 23hrs already. It is not exactly pixar standard but it is fairly complicated which is why polybore's reasonably fast pc, once the video is done, will have spent 40hrs non stop rendering it.
Need to upgrade the PC.-

It would be great to have my blog on a youtube video. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it will get much attention based on the video view counts. You use my blog if you want though, I could care less, lol.-
Well it kind of depends how you use the video. For best effect you would probably want to us the video made by polybore on your own YouTube channel.

Ok back on track with this after a wet and windy holiday. Just cooked up a short video for Truely Skewed mainly because his avatar made thing really easy. Anyway here it is with polybore's heavilt doctored voice delivering the hook line at the end. Needs a bit more work, anyway.

Why is it I am just seeing this now? Oh well, better late than not. I was just thinking it would be cool to have a Halloween polybore video for the children and pets of bloggers for BlogCatalog and a cooking one for HalfHourMeals, also. The kids Halloween one would be cool because a lot of parents would want to purchase a copy.

Awesome work, I like what you've done with certain logos... very cool! I already have a YouTube channel and am often at a loss as to how to utilize it more efficiently as "promotion." but if you made one based on my logo, i'd feature it and link back to you...

Yes checked out your YouTube channel earlier. Have already been thinking about a logo ident you could use for the start/ end of your videos. Well, space, NASA what's not to like. Plenty there for the imagination.
The video of NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory was great.

OK an update. Polybore has been busy on the next video for pillownaut. The theme of her blog NASA, space etc meant there was instantly a number of polybore ideas.
So if you have responded to this thread don't be disappointed that polybore has not made a video for you yet, the idea just has not arrived yet. You can help the process along by sending any ideas, images, logos etc to polybore.
