    Absolutely not.

    The late late 80s early 90s was the golden age of rap. The closest to getting back to the golden age was 2003.

    for me, it was 1995, about the time "California Love" debuted. The era of Tupac, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg. I do wonder if today's "bling" rap isn't going to kill rap.

    The 2nd "tape" I ever purchased was Run DMC...tougher than leather.

    all the 'good' rap came out in the 90s, by good I mean music that I can stand to be around. I am not by any means a fan of rap, but I have noticed that rap has progressively gotten worse over the last ten years.
