We are poor but nice

I made a blog site up for each of my two daughters. The older one hardly uses hers, but my 8 year old (Maddy) has started trying to post regularly. Mostly she puts a heap of pet widgets in there and messes up all the lovely columns.
We are homeschooling because her literacy level went right down, so I'm pleased she's started using it, and she worked out all by herself how to post.
Well, gotta tell you about the post she made last night:
"I have a poor and nice family. I like to play games. I like pets. My name is Madelyn. "
She's always asking for things and I'm always complaining that I have no money left! I think she finally got the message lol.

Well, there's not much in it other than chirping birds but you're welcome to visit it!

Yep, good idea. This is the first time I've given out the url so I'll have to keep an eye on it from now on. But she'll be thrilled with getting comments!

What a cute blog! I left her a comment too and I linked my name to my tetonsandbeyond.com blog (it is much more kid friendly than my other ones).
She can go there and see pictures of my baby horse.

She's totally cute. I also commented there, she does deserve to have a nice life. I was a poor kid too (very poor) and the best thing happening to me was to have a loving family. In the end this was the most important: I was able to gain as much support and love as they could give me, I was a good student and now I have a well paid job. And a 27 site network and my own web design firm. sure I had to work like crazy for this, but their support was invaluable
I wished I had a kid .. I am sure she/he would also learn how to design and blog from the uterus. I need to have a c-section: so that they can also take out the laptop the baby will be born with

That sure is a wonderful blog with lots of entertaining widgets. I loved the whole writing too.
Unlike offendedblogger's, you can tell her to visit my blog freely.
I'm a school student and maybe something may interest her
Tell her to keep up the good work.-
I am so glad you heeded my warning, too.
Visit www.tetonsandbeyond.com sometime, it is a very non-offensive photo journey of my life living around Yellowstone Park.
I think you will like it!

yeah definitely children are so honest thats why oftentimes I wish I was child again
thanks Lucy for this refreshing thread and a kid blog to visit makes us go back to our childhood and innocense.-
Why is it that children are more honest? I think it is because they are less polluted. With age comes experiences, with experiences comes conditioning, and in the ill current state of affairs in which we consider "modern societies," there comes great pollution from these conditioning experiences. Just as we take out the garbage in our homes, we must take out the garbage that builds up in our inner home, our minds.

Thanks everyone for the great comments - it was really nice of you to leave comments for her. She's at her dad's place this weekend, but when she comes back I'll be sure to let her know that there are new comments waiting for her to read.
Alison, Maddy loves snow globes - her absolute prized possession is a snow globe! You'll probably inspire her to start collecting them.-
Ahhh - You must be speaking of my wife Alison (Truthoughts)
I'll be sure to tell her to check this thread again. She really enjoyed your daughters blog, as you could tell by her comment there. Did you have a chance to check out her snow globe blog?
truthought.wordpress.com/ - I wasn't sure if she left the link for it in her comment. She doesn't have it registered with BC yet, because it's brand new. Would love to see Maddy's face light up when she sees all of the comments on her blog.
