What do you guys think is a good first song for the bride and groom to dance to??

I was thinking Amazed by Lonestar, and Danielle likes Love of My Life by Sammy Kershaw.

Why not both? Have your band or DJ simply play them back to back without a break so that it is just one extended song.
My brother had "The Battle Hymn of Love" by Kathy Mattea at his wedding, and I like "Where have you been?" by the same artist.
But the song for the first dance should be something that speaks to both of you. If you don't have one song that does that, then playing two songs, back to back, should suffice.

Really great source for wedding music? Itunes. There are dozens of wedding playlists published in the Itunes store with some fun, interesting and unique song choices for the first dance.
I have always thought Into the Mystic is a classic and the lyrics are beautiful.-
Never heard Into the Mystic....I'll have to check it out!

Ours was "What a wonderful world" (Louis Armstrong) although I was rooting for either "Alone" (BeeGees) or "Vision of a Kiss" (B-52's)-

We were gonna do a surpise break out for our first dance but its all a matter of finding somewhere where I can mix and edit the songs together.-

For us, it was Rusted Root's Circle of Remembrance. From the first time I heard that song, I knew it was exactly the right one. But that's because it really spoke to both hubby and me. We didn't have a public dance, but we put the song on after everyone had left and had our own private first dance as a married couple.-

Bottomline: Your first song should be a clear indication of who you and your bride are AND what life together means to the two of you.
There are many, many songs that sound great, etc., but do the lyrics convey what it is to be marrying each other? Find that right song regardless if it's mainstream, well known, etc.
Find what fits your personalities, love for each other, etc. -
