What age did you get your first bike

Recently got bikes for my son(4) and daughter(2) and wanted to know how old people were when they got their first bicycles.

I've never had my own bike
We borrowed a bicycle for me to practice riding, and after that I got a hand-me-down...-
TODAY, I declare you get your own bike.

They're so expensive... at least here in Norway. Maybe in a few years when I finish school and I get a fulltime job. That is my vow!

Bicycle 10. My parents couldn't afford it till then. -
i had one as far back as I can remember. Before that I had a wooden toy flat seat 4 wheeles and a griaffe head with rubber ears. I kept riding it thru a plate glass window on to the back porch. My said they had to replace the glass 4 times. I stil have 3 scars on my forhead from it. So they bought me a tricycle and shoved me out into the driveway.
