Could someone please explain to me what is so cool about guys wearing "skinny jeans"? For those of you who don't know what that is, you might have seen that guys are wearing really tight jeans these days and that is what the young people call them. I wasn't a fan of the baggy pants hanging off their rear ends either, but this new style is completely ridiculous. Now they still wear the pants hanging off their rear end but they are skin tight so they can barely walk and look like penguins. This brings to mind other useless fashion fads such as the Kris Cross, clothes backward phase in the 90s. Some people really need to get a clue about which fads are worth following and which ones aren't.

Skinny jeans whether for men or women make the skinniest of all people look fat. I don't get it. Remember back in the 80's when that's what the style was, and they were mostly pin stripes with zippers at the ankle so you can tighten it up? Ugh. And then I thought I would never, ever be seen in flare pants, or bell bottoms (not to the extreme) and OUT they came, and everyone wore them. But this style can't last long... it just looks THAT bad.
LOL @ the penguin comment in the original post! That's hysterical! -
Funny! I agree. Skinny jeans are only for those with skinny legs. And if a man's legs (and butt) are THAT skinny.... he shouldn't be accentuating the fact!

My daughter and her friens like that painted on jeans look. They have to wiggle around on the floor or bd to get them on. I saw them do that the last time they were here. It was funny and sad all at the same time. I think it is bad when you have to fight to get your pants on.

I heard long dresses and skirts have returned to the fashion scene. Why not, everyone wear long flowing robes and cover everything up for a change. Better yet bring back the kilt.
