The better question for me would be, "Is there any Thanksgiving dish you don't like?"

It amazes me that people only have roasted turkey on holidays. We eat roasted turkey all year round so it's not big deal holiday meal for us.

roasted potatoes like these, except I also include with rosemary & paprika www.potatopatchrecipes.com/2008/11/roasted-potatoeseasy-side-dish-recipe/
    scalloped potatoes with sour cream

I love the cranberry relish recipe that's on the package of fresh cranberries. So simple, cranberries, fresh oranges and sugar. Not that icky glop served out of a can.

Now think - add some Orange Marmalade - fresh OJ and the zest of an Orange to that simple recipe - and you have a gourmet one!

Candied Sweet Potatoes - slice sweet potatoes (or yams), dab with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar, bake until potatoes are soft and well caramelized.

We eat this on Thanksgiving. The rest of the year we eat our sweet potatoes baked whole and unadorned.

Ok for the potatoes but not the poor turkey!

I don't like sweet potatos, lima beans, canned vegetables or corn (fresh is good), green jello with pears in it (jello and pears don't mix especially canned pears), and candied fruit cake.

I like cranberry sauce, turkey, gravy, pumpkin pie, fresh corn, stuffing, green beans, baked apples, apple cider.

I make the best turkey. It is a brined turkey recipe I got from Good Eats on the cooking channel. My otherwise vegitarian in-laws eat three servings of it every year.
