A Billy Connolly story about a Scottish guy in Japan who wanted a massive tattoo across his back saying "Scotland Forever" with the national flower, the thistle, in the middle. The Japanese tattooist didn't understand the word 'thistle' so the Scottish guy drew it for him. The tattooist recognised what the guy was drawing and proceeded to do an amazingly intricate tattoo all over this guy's back. And to this day, there is a man walking around the world with a tattoo that says "Scotland Forever" surrounding a huge pineapple!-

When I got my belly button pierced there was a boy there that wanted his tooth pierced, but they would not do it because he was underage.

I have a Viking symbol at the base of my neck. It's a wheel (energy) with a cross (the 4 directions) inside of it and a bolt of lightning (power) through it. So my tat gives me power and energy no matter what road I take.-
now, thats what i want to hear !! wee hoo !
and that power will give you the power and energy for the rest of your life!

I am a huge Superman fan. I don't think I'd ever get a tattoo but I always notice when people have the Superman "S" tattoo. Usually it's on the bicep area of their arm. But, I saw a very unique place. I was showering at the gym when this guy (who actually looked like Superman) came into the shower. He had the Superman tattoo right between his shoulder blades. It was such a different place for that tattoo. And it looked great!

Obviously, some tattoos are pretty clearly going to last forever. Big Sis and Smoking Hot Roommate each have their dead mother’s initials done on their right hips. Very, very small (covered by a bikini) and really unlikely to ever be something that causes one of them to say “Gee, I wish I hadn’t gotten that done.” But obviously, not all tattoos are that well thought-out. So, I wanna hear some tattoo stories!!! Preferably bad ones, but I will take good ones, too!

My own tattoos aren't strange or bizarre, but I think the weirdest tattoos (and kinda cool) are the UV tatts. When they first came out, I had heard of complications with them, but I don't know if those have been corrected or not

What I do is use the free Photobucket site. Upload pics then copy the html code and paste it. Note: Fliker does not have the code leastways not that I could find.

I notice a lot of people with tattoos with certain signs that "they" dont even understand what they are or mean. I find that strange to put something onto your body forever and not know exactly what the true meaning of it is..

Sorry this one is a lil blurry, taking a pic of your own arm is not as easy as it sounds!!!
The crown was done freehand without a stencil by the tat artist btw!

First of all I think that anybody that wants to have tattoos should be thinking of how their tattoos will look when there say sixty five or seventy years of age when their skin is becomes saggy. It seems that the younger generation today really has no respect for themselves when you think of tongue piercing, lip piercings, eye browse piercings, nipple piercings, nose piercings and of course tattoos. I know as a parent that I would definitely not allow them to get tattoos or piercings as long as they are living under my roof.

My boss once told us about a guy he knew in the army who had his butt cheeks tattooed. It was a picture of two little devils shoveling coal up his hole!-

In Muslim culture women have henna tattoos (which are temporary) done as part of their wedding rituals here's my post. that includes a photo of these kind of tattoos

I don't know if anyone thinks mine would be funny/strange/cool, but I have a cute red back spider on my butt LOL

I keep forgetting I actually have it because I had it done many years ago
I had to go to the Doctors a few years ago for an injection because I couldn't stop throwing up (sorry if TMI, I had a bad flu), and anyway he kept saying to me , do you want me to kill it ? I had no idea at the time what he was rambling on about, as I was too ill to even think clearly that day. It occurred to me a few days later what he was going on about ! LOL-

I love them! I've only got two though, one's a very personal memorial tattoo on my back and on my inner arm I've got a Viking compass called a Vegvisir. I think they're pretty cool -
Vikings are awesome ! mean Mother F ers though. lol.

My wifes tattoo is great to us. I came up with the idea, I designed it, laid it out, and drew it for her tattoo. In case you are wondering size, 8"x 16". She is a mere 5' 2" tall. I haven't figured out how to place an image here yet, so please follow the link to the page in my photo album.
