So amidst all the financial doom and gloom, life goes on right. With the recession going on here are a list of my best and worst recession lessons thus far.
Best Recession Moments:
* Going full time into business
* Recognizing business opportunitities
* Forced to learn more about money and finance
* Following financial news more closely
* The current economic climate is condusive for loans and borrowing ( as always, practice caution with this)
* Cheaper interest rates on loans
* Negotiating better interest rates on my credit card
* Learnt to be more frugal
Worst Recession Moments:
* Unemployment
* With low interest rates the current economic climate is not condusive for savers
* Cost of living is actually more expensive now
* Not being able to spend as much as before
* Worrying about income (sleepless nights and waking up in cold sweats)
* Frustration when things don't go quite according to plan
What are yours?
