I own a Canon Rebel XT that is a few years old. My first DSLR, and it gets the job done quite well. I can think of some nicer setups, especially Nikon that I would love to own instead, but im only a lazy amateur photographer at best. It's amazing what a little photo manipulation will do though

What do you have and how to you like it? Point and click or SLR? Old school 35mm? Im interested.

Also, if anyone can recommend a nice wide angle lens that would fit my Rebel I would love to know. Something that can shoot 18mm would be nice..

    Canon Powershot A550.

Not exactly the greatest thing ever, but it gets the job done for the most part.

A Canon 20D. Before that, a Canon S45, a Pentax MZ5 35mm film SLR, and the one I learned with and absolutely love, one of those clunky russian-made Zenits

Canon EOS 450D. But most of the pictures here are from a Nikon D60

I think modern dSLRs are really good these days. There are little differences across brands.

Samsung Digimax 370. Kinda old, but pictures are very realistic and good. No red eye problem as new cameras have.

Red eye has been a problem for years and years, not new at all and it has to do with the lighting, especially using on board flash.

The other is a DSLR - Canon.

Couldn't tell you more than that without getting them out

I use DSLR's made by Panasonic with Leica glass in them. I'd get the Leica DSLR but they really want to much money for it in my opinion.
    1. samureyed
      Why is Leica glass good?
